The Storage Specialist refers to the Director of Professional Services. His responsibilities include planning, strategy, infrastructure, solution design, deployment, transition to production and activities related to planning our capacities. He embodies the role of storage leader in relation to projects and for the following: deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades, management change and issues as well as projects related to infrastructure development.

The position requires communication on a regular basis with all levels of management. The candidate must also have interpersonal skills and excellent presentation as well as particular skills in leadership. It is also essential for presentation purposes to have excellent communication, oral and written skills.

The candidate demonstrates attention to the customer, knows how to collaborate as well as to think and act strategically. He establishes work relations with other members, more than 20 specialists who have varying expertise in the field of storage, networking, telecommunications and computer security. He is up to date with the required abilities to work with technologies that are constantly evolving.

It is imperative that the candidate is knowledgeable of current technologies. He must also maintain contact with its counterparts holding similar positions within the industry.

A minimum of 5 years in the IT modern and open management systems as well as in infrastructure and exploitation management of central data points is required, also experience in managing storage systems on a wide scale.

The candidate must have a wide experience/knowledge and be aware of one of the following environments: NetApp, d’HP (XP, EVA, MSA), HDS (Hitachi), Switches McData towards Brocade.
